This session will look at the second stage of care proceedings the WELFARE stage. This session will discuss the role of the SW as an expert in this stage of the proceedings and the information that must be given to the court by Children’s Services to enable the court to make the final decision for the child. The session will also look at Re B-S, the realistic options; parallel planning and early permanence.
