This training is on the provision of financial support and/or accommodation for families with no recourse to public funds under the Care Act 2014 and section 17 Children Act 1989.
Description
The training will cover the following:-
- Understanding no recourse to public funds.
- Identifying immigration status, entitlements, and barriers to accessing immigration advice.
- Support for individuals: Care Act 2014.
- Support for families: section 17 Children Act 1989.
- Barriers to accessing support.
- Care assessments, child in need assessments and human rights assessments.
- Access to other services.
