Legal Skills Series - Introduction/ Legal thresholds and evidencing harm in statements/ Court procedure

This session will consider the Section 31 Children Act 1989 threshold criteria and what the Court takes into consideration when determining whether the criteria are met; what evidence is required to satisfy the criteria and an introduction to Court procedure, hearings and some tips when giving evidence.

The session will be aimed at all social workers and child protection professionals.  Newly qualified as well as refresher training for more experienced practitioners.
