Delegates must book their space via Eventbrite. Please register below to receive the booking link.

Description

This webinar will look at research into the most recent reviews, as well as the overarching messages that have emerged in the last 20 years.

Tragic child deaths, and the serious and local safeguarding practice reviews that follow, continue to shape much of the debate around child protection and child welfare. The findings of serious case reviews and research into the themes that emerge have been an invaluable source of learning for the sector. However, findings can also be misinterpreted.

In this webinar we review:

· The messages for policy and practice that emerge from such reviews

· What we can learn from the methodologies that are used to carry out such reviews
