Anxious Non-Attendance (also referred to as Emotionally Based School Avoidance) is a growing concern for autistic pupils, their families, and the professionals who work with them. This module, co-produced with individuals with lived experience, explores how anxiety can lead to school absence and its impact on daily life. It equips delegates to identify causes of Anxious Non-Attendance, consider reasonable adjustments, and explore options should attendance break down.
