Induction - Adoption & Permanence Service
Description
This session offers an overview of the different elements of the Adoption and Permanence Service in Brighter Futures for Children, including Viability and Connected Carer Assessments, Special Guardianship Support Service, Family Finding, Connected Carer Support, Private Fostering and Life Story Books. The session will also explore the importance of permanence planning for children and young people, the role of the child’s social worker in the permanence planning process and how to refer to the Adoption and Permanence Service.
